DARK TRANQUILLITY, THE HAUNTED To Team Up For Japanese Tour
October 17, 2007DARK TRANQUILLITY and THE HAUNTED will team up for the "The Double Titans Tour In Japan" in January. Confirmed dates are as follows:
Jan. 16 – Osaka, JPN - Big Cat
Jan. 17 - Nagoya, JPN - Club Quattro
Jan. 18 - Tokyo, JPN - O-East
DARK TRANQUILLITY 's new album, "Fiction", was released in April via Century Media Records. The CD was mixed by Tue Madsen (HIMSA, THE HAUNTED) and "encompasses all of the elements on which the band built their career: thought-provoking lyrics, shredding guitar work, captivating melodies and sheer brutality," according to a press release.
THE HAUNTED will make a special appearance on the Eastpak Antidote Tour at club Nosturi, Helsinki on October 29. Other bands on the bill are SOILWORK, CALIBAN and SONIC SYNDICATE.
THE HAUNTED's latest album, "The Dead Eye", was recorded in Denmark at Antfarm Studios with renowned producer Tue Madsen (HIMSA, SICK OF IT ALL). The effort is being hailed as the band's most accomplished work yet. The group shot a video for the song "The Flood" with renowned director Roger Johansson (ARCH ENEMY, IN FLAMES).
